How do you play the long notes on guitar hero world tour drums?

Okay, I got the Guitar Hero World Tour, but I am so poor that I with my old band drums with the game. They work well (except I never the star power), but I noticed some long notes in the game while I played. . . How in the world I long tones on the drums? Someone?

i havent played this yet, but maybe if u keep ur foot on the peddle. if ur foots on the peddle u probably dont have to keep ur stick on the drum either. im just guessing cuz of how the guitar works on long notes, but good luck!!!!!

Thrash wildly on the carpet color (s) that have tails. You get more points and keep your moltiplicatore.EDIT: lol, but not too hard

If you see a note taken repediatly continue the pads press note is like a drum roll.
